Connecting the product to a USB storage device

  1. a Press the Source 149073.png button repeatedly on the product until the lighting indicator lights up amber to select USB Drive mode. After a moment, the lighting indicator blinks amber.

  1. b Plug the USB storage device into the USB port on the back of the product.
  • • If the USB storage device does not have a USB-C port, a USB-C adapter is required.
  • • The product cannot play any devices connected via a USB storage device hub or a USB storage device cable.
  • • The product is designed to support only standard USB flash drives. It cannot be connected to any USB storage device, USB type MP3 player, external HDD, or card reader that requires a separate device driver to be installed.

  1. c When the product is connected to the USB storage device, the lighting indicator lights up amber, and music plays automatically.
  2. d When the product is connected to the USB storage device, the lighting indicator lights up amber briefly and then switches to the ambient lighting color set through the LG ThinQ app. Afterward, the music plays automatically.
  • • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause 150377.png button.
  • • Moving to the next music: Press the Play/Pause 150382.png button twice quickly.
  • • Moving to the previous music: Press the Play/Pause 150388.png button three times quickly.

  • • It is recommended that you purchase a separate extension cable to make it easier to plug in and out USB storage devices.
  • • USB devices with a large storage volume may take several minutes to browse through files.
  • • LG Electronics is not responsible for any data loss. Please always back up the data on your USB storage device to minimize damage caused by data loss.
  • • Only FAT16/FAT32/NTFS formats are supported. exFAT format is not supported.
  • • Use the USB port of this product only for playing a media file. You cannot charge external devices with the USB port.
