  4. a Connect the power cord by opening the power supply cover on the back of the product. Charge it before use.
  5. b Connecting the speaker to a smartphone via Bluetooth ([ See “Connecting Smartphone to the Speaker via Bluetooth” on page 20.)
  6. A Press the Power 28920.png button on the speaker to turn it on. The lighting indicator blinks.
  7. B Tap the Settings 21836.png button on your smartphone and select Bluetooth. Turn on the Bluetooth function. (21853.png Off > 21862.png On)
  8. C Find “xboom Stage501” on the device list on the smartphone and connect to it. Once the smartphone is connected via Bluetooth, the lighting Indicator will turns on.
  9. D On the smartphone, play a music of your choice.
  10. c Connecting the product to a PC using a USB Cable ([ See “Connecting via USB Audio” on page 33.)
  11. A Open the jack cover on the side of the product and connect the speaker to the PC via a USB Type-C cable.
  12. B Press the Power 40628.png button on the speaker to turn it on.
  13. C Press the Bluetooth 40618.png button three times quickly on the speaker. When connected to a PC in USB Audio mode, the sound will appear.
  14. D Select "xboom Stage501" as the PC audio output.
  15. E Play the audio on the PC.
  16. d Playing Music from the USB ([ See “Connecting the product to a USB storage device” on page 35.)
  17. A Press the Power 31097.png button to turn on the product.
  18. B Open the jack cover on the side of the product and plug the USB storage device into the USB terminal.
  19. e Connecting to an External Device ([ See “Connecting to an External Device” on page 37.)
  20. A Press the Power 29736.png button to turn on the product.
  21. B Open the jack cover on the side of the product and connect the external device to the AUX IN terminal via a 3.5 mm stereo cable.
  22. C Turn the external device on and start playing.
  23. f Connecting the LG ThinQ App ([ See “Installing app” on page 30.)
  24. A Find the LG ThinQ app on the Google Play or App Store and install it on your smartphone.
  25. B Run the LG ThinQ app and use more functions. (EQ, Party Link, Lighting, Setting etc.)
